The laptop is new, an HP Envy x360 15 inch model. Display adapters:-Intel UHD 620 (paired with an intel i7-10510U) Nvidia mx250 4GB. When the intel card is disabled, there is no flickering but that is not an option as leaving the dGPU on the whole time is not convenient (heat, battery and no brightness control).
