You start at the top and work your way down, with dedicated sections for early London transport, London underground, buses, trams, design and architecture. The Museum’s horse tram was built in 1882 by John Stephenson & Co. of New York. It was one of more than 300 horse cars ordered by the London Tramways Company and shipped across the Atlantic.
